When it comes to sexuality, many Christian men wrestle with the question, "Am I normal?" Author and psychologist Archibald Hart was a recent guest for two segments on Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family radio broadcast. During the interviews, Hart provides encouragement and reassurance as he outlines the results of research that he conducted in association with a book he authored, The Sexual Man: Masculinity Without Guilt (Word Publishing).

Dr. Hart addresses issues like temptation, sexual addiction, pornography, and teaching healthy sexuality to boys. He refutes current myths surrounding male sexuality, providing a psychologically sound, biblically respectful view of what men secretly think and feel about important sexual issues.

To listen to Dr. Dobson's recent interviews with Dr. Hart, click archives of broadcasts. These two fine sessions occurred on October 22nd and 23rd. If you so desire, you can order a copy of these two broadcasts from Focus on the Family at the suggested cost of $9 for the two segments(order at 1-800-A Family or family.org).

You also may be interested in reading Rev. H.B. London, Jr.'s complete related article, "Pornography: A Very Real and Troublesome Problem", also available at the website. He quotes Hart's suggestions for the person faced with a pornography habit or any other sexual addiction, and he also includes the names of some organizations, therapists, books, and articles that might be of assistance. To that, I add the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families. Their helpline is 800-583-2964.
